KJB contractors have been a Briggs irrigation main dealer since 2000.
Hose reels
The Briggs hose reel is based on the Ocmis range of reels which are adapted for the UK market at their Corby factory.
The hose reels range from 63mm/150m to 125mm/750m machines with options such as computer control, telephone link, engine reels for racecourse and turf reels for applications such as polo
Booms
Briggs booms are designed and manufactured at the factory in Corby .Made of galvanized steel the booms are robust yet light and easy to operate. The range is from 18m to 40m for a mounted boom and 50m to 64m for a four wheeled towed boom.
Options include rain gun mounting kits to allow the boom to be used folded up, off set water feeds on the towed boom for working on beds, turf tyres and adapted draw bar for turf surfaces
Pump sets
The pump sets are based on JCB engines with caprari pumps. The engines are compliant with the latest emissions regulations and range from 80-164hp.
Options include bunded fuel tank, acoustic canopies, throttle control and remote start by telephone.
Dirty water systems
The rotorainer self travelling irrigator for dirty water was awarded the rase gold medal in the 80’s and an updated version is still in production today. There is also a range of pump sets to match the varying outputs of the rotorainer range which come pre wired and housed in a galvanized steel cabinet with start, stop controls and heater.
